Global iron core giant announces construction of new factory in Europe
Recently, LTC Group, a global leader in transformer and reactor core production, announced a major capacity expansion plan to meet the rapidly growing demand in the energy industry and continuously enhance the group's competitiveness. On September 1, 2025, LTC will open a modern production base covering an area of 8000 square meters in Italy, which is the seventh factory of the group. After being put into operation, it can increase its annual production capacity of 10000 tons of main transformer iron cores, further consolidating its competitiveness in strategic fields such as energy, railways, and smart grids.
As an industry benchmark, LTC currently has over a thousand employees and produces an average of 12000 tons of materials per month. Relying on advanced technology and strict quality control, its business is not only rooted in Italy, but also extends to the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, China, China, and the Canadian production base is also about to land. This expansion is not the end point - LTC also plans to build a new 6500 square meter facility, specializing in the robot automation production of core armatures, to leverage technological innovation to improve efficiency and quality.
At the level of the entire product matrix, LTC is simultaneously making efforts to increase production capacity across the entire chain, from parallel reactors, distribution and power transformers, to railway departments and smart grid solutions. It is worth noting that in terms of sustainable development strategy, the group plans to invest in Industry 4.0 and 5.0 technologies, innovative materials, and automated processes to build a more efficient and environmentally friendly production system, injecting green momentum into energy transformation.
