Shandong Electric Power Construction signs contract for Saudi Arabia EPC project
On March 24th local time, Shandong Electric Power Construction Third Company and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) officially signed the EPC project contract for the expansion of the 1800MW combined cycle power station of Saudi PP12. The successful signing of this project marks the company's achievement of three consecutive Saudi projects: the 1800MW combined cycle power plant EPC project in Ruma, the 1800MW combined cycle power plant EPC project in Naria, and the 1800MW combined cycle power plant EPC project for PP12 expansion.
The Saudi PP12 expansion project adopts 7H level gas turbine combined cycle technology, with a total installed capacity of 1800MW. It is another milestone breakthrough in the deepening strategic cooperation between the company and the owner SEC after the Saudi PP13 and PP14 power station projects. As a key project of Saudi Arabia's "2030 Vision" energy transformation plan, the completion of the project will significantly enhance the reliability of Saudi Arabia's power grid, meet the rapidly growing industrial and residential electricity demand in the Riyadh region, and provide key support for Saudi Arabia to optimize its energy structure and build a clean and low-carbon modern power system.
