National Energy Group Zhaoqing Power Plant Phase II fully completed and put into operation
On March 27th, the four units of the second phase gas project of Guangdong Zhaoqing Power Plant of National Energy Group successfully completed 168 hours of full load trial operation and officially put into commercial operation. After the completion and commissioning of three units on March 20th. The successful achievement of the one week "dual investment" goal marks the full completion and operation of the first thermal power project of the National Energy Group in 2025.
This project is a key construction project of the National Energy Group and Guangdong Province. The project involves the construction of 2 × 500 MW gas steam combined cycle generator units, which are arranged in a "one to one" split shaft configuration. Each unit consists of one gas generator unit, one steam turbine generator unit, one waste heat boiler, and supporting systems.
After the project is fully completed and put into operation, the total installed capacity of the plant will reach 1700 megawatts, with an annual increase in power generation of 3.8 billion kilowatt hours and heating capacity of 6.3 million gigajoules. This is of great significance for optimizing the regional energy structure and promoting green and low-carbon development.
