Hexi 110kV substation adopts the theme of "smart energy window". The three-dimensional spatial layout of the substation breaks the tradition and is perfectly integrated with the urban landscape and facilities to form a staggered and hierarchical three-dimensional structure. It is equipped with publicity and display wall, science and education film screening screen, stepping on the power ground, information screen display, environmental data monitoring points, photovoltaic railings and electric vehicle charging stations. The substation is China's first in many aspects. It is the first sunken courtyard substation in China. The highest international standards are adopted in the construction process. All buildings use full mirror fair faced concrete technology, and some technologies have reached the domestic leading and world-class level.
In 2021, xiong'an new area plans to build 15 new projects of 500 kV and below, 11 additional projects, 76.85 km of lines of 35 kV and above, and 700000 KVA of substation capacity. In the future, xiong'an new area will form a 500 kV pan xiong'an new area double loop network, 220 kV district power supply, 110 kV four chain or three chain structure, 10 kV innovation adopts the world's leading "double petal" and other high reliability structures, and the power supply reliability of the whole area will reach the international leading level.
